FROM BCHARRE TO THE WORLD
Comic in burgundy
IT START WITH
An Endless Passion for humor
For Discovery, for life and for people
Nicolas Tawk is a Lebanese stand-up comedian and photographer from Bcharre who started out studying architecture before switching paths to pursue comedy. Since 2018, Nicolas has been performing stand-up, drawing inspiration from the little things in life: family, relationships, city life, and the everyday ups and downs—all with an absurd yet honest take. Known for his love of crowd work and his signature burgundy shirts that all fit in one drawer, Nicolas brings a laid-back, honest voice to the stage, rooted in observation, storytelling, and a sense of humor that doesn’t take itself too seriously. Nicolas has a flair for engaging and connecting with audiences in a way that feels personal and real, making each show a unique experience shaped by the people in the room.
His first show, “Ana Mesh Hek,” where he introduced himself as a comedian, was an immediate success, attracting over 6,000 audience members in Beirut, across Lebanon, and in Paris.
In the summer of 2024, Nicolas launched his new show “Awal Marra” with a series of sold-out performances in Beirut. He has since taken it on tour across Europe and the Arab world, performing to packed venues from Luxembourg to Riyadh.
Nicolas also created “Men Beit Min?” (من بيت مين؟), a live, interactive crowd-work comedy concept where the audience shapes each unique show, and “Bass Lahza,” a YouTube mini-series capturing raw, honest moments through comedy and storytelling.
Whether performing live or creating digital content, Nicolas focuses on authenticity, connection, and the art of being fully present—always in a burgundy T-shirt, one joke at a time.
